Working on a new animation that should be ready for Christmas. The above pic is for the opening scene. Don’t miss it! It’ll be on theamazingcat.com site sometime this month.
(This post is a shameless nod to Zeb, who also put up a preview of his work-in-pogress. Christmas is in the air!!!!)
Here is a sneak peek at one of the little goodies that we’ve got in the works. New stuff is coming soon!!

The Amazing Cat has a side project of making Early Learning material in Spanish! If you want your kids to learn the Spanish alphabet, our front page has just the link for you, and you can find more cool stuff by visiting us at
Ch ch check us out!
Well hello there! Here’s a little preview of a new spot we’ve got in the works. I’m really excited about this one. So excited in fact, that I turned what was supposed to be a 5 second intro into a 25 second one.
Incidentally, it depicts how I feel most mornings.
But not today! Today is the first day of Spring!! Well, it is for those of us south of the Equator. In celebration of the happiness that a new season brings, here is a hilarious video that combines 2 of the greatest smile-inducers of all times: Vallenato and Cantinflas. Cantinflas dancing Vallenato! C’mon, there has to be at least one or two people out there who get a kick out of it. Admit it!
Happy times!

Just look at that brave little face!! Our compadre in art, Mr. Zebtoonz, is asking for prayer for his little girl. We know all you amazing cats out there will uphold her in your thoughts and prayers and send lots of happy vibes her way.
Here’s the prayer request:
Please pray for our eight-yea-old daughter, Kika. She has spina bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down. She also has a condition known as hydrocephalus and so has a shunt, an internal tube that runs from her head to her abdomen to drain excess fluid. It recently became infected and she had to be interned to have it removed and is currently being treated and once the infection is gone, will be operated on again to insert a new shunt. Please pray that all goes well with her treatment and upcoming operation, that the Lord gives the doctors wisdom and that she can go home soon. Her next operation is scheduled for this coming Tuesday the 8th. Also pray that we can have the hospital bill paid by medicaid or some other available options. Thanks so much for your love and prayers!

We are proud to present our next featurette, a story we all know and love:
A sobering saga of a man, a camel, a tent, the sand, 2 palm trees, more camels, and the moon.

We want to say an ENORMOUSLY HUGE THANKS TO PED, a strapping young lad who threw us a virtual gold nugget by doing the animation for this song. We love you, Ped!
We are not dead… not even sleeping! (See Luke 8:52) We’re working fast and furiously to get our next featurette ready (and to pay the rent). Check back in a couple of days, say 3 or 4, and we should have a brand new adventure for you!
And you’re looking for Mama’s birthday card…

To bite or not to bite!! What will he do? Will he win the war against temptation? The epic battle of the ages of YES vs. NO vs. JUST-A-LITTLE-LICK?! HOW DOES THE STORY END??? The answer, my friends, is…
Are you prepared to see it?

We want to send our heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful home CH016, and to the SSAABCPED Board for your donations towards our project. We are so touched!!
~Author Unknown
And to the Board,
You leave us floored.
That crazy acronym,
Gets you an award!! Yay!
(PS: Hi, mom!)
We interrupt our amazingcat transmission to announce IT’S MAMA’S BIRTHDAY TODAY!! Or tomorrow… or yesterday, depending on your time zone. It’s time to break out the chocolate cake!!!! (Be sure to use brown sugar or blended raisins, or natural honey, plis.)
This is your official opportunity-almost-duty to dance the robot! Don’t forget to send her your birthday greetings -or you can write one here, because we’re really hoping she sees this! WE LOVE YOU, MAMA!!! Tons and tons.
PS: We really do eat spinach pie every Friday. (Or at least every other Friday… it’s market day.)
